The Gernert Company

Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Sarah joined The Gernert Company in 2017 after working in editorial at Norton. She holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Brown University, and an MA in Comparative Literature from Goldsmiths, University of London. She currently resides in Manhattan, but has previously lived in Japan, South Korea, and the UK.

She’s seeking fiction blending literary ambition with genre sensibility, especially featuring diverse characters, far-flung locales, or inventive narrative structure; also seeking a range of nonfiction including memoir, pop culture, psychology, sociology, beauty, and style.
